Challenges

“Expediting delayed timeline and keeping the project on time!”

KIMECO SOLUTIONS

“We have increased the number of skilled workers and closely collaborated with local equipment companies to speed up.”

Our global customers have key tasks in supplying stable batteries that meets global demand for electric vehicles. Building battery production plants in a timely manner is core to accomplish the challenges. Steel structure work, the main process of battery factory construction, plays a significant part in keeping the production schedule.

However, the customer encountered an issue with the unstable supply of materials for steel structures. A delay of more than three months was expected for the supply, and securing a steel structure company that could expedite the construction period emerged as a key task.

KIMECO expedited to prevent delays by early increasing the number of Korean and third-country workers who are skilled in steel structure installation. KIMECO also worked closely with local equipment companies in Poland. A total of 21,000 tons of steel structure has been installed with an average of 4,000 tons per month.
