Challenges
“We must source and operate field workers in a timely manner!”
KIMECO SOLUTIONS
“We secured experienced engineers and workers from Korea and third countries in a short time.”
The new Terminal 3 project, aimed at meeting the increasing demand for international airport users, is a key management task for our client. To address these challenges, high-quality terminal construction that will adhere to the planned opening schedule is essential. The installation of steel structures, which form the core foundation of terminal construction, is a key process.
However, due to a severe shortage of qualified local workers in Taiwan capable of installing the terminal's steel structure on site, construction schedules were delayed.
KIMECO employed Korean managers with extensive experience in managing the workforce for steel structure installation work and secured skilled Vietnamese engineers and workers with installation experience. Additionally, in order to ensure smooth communication with our Taiwanese clients, KIMECO hired Taiwanese interpreters early to expedite and meet all work deadlines, ensuring planned project execution. A total of 22,000 tons of steel structures are scheduled to be installed during the four-year construction period.
